Blockhaus in Gelnhausen

The log cabin is the most beautiful place in Gelnhausen where you can stop off with friends in the summer and drink an Äppelwoi outside and eat a hand cheese or other very simple but well-prepared food. A rare, magical place.

90 min walking through the forest I gladly accept ... there is always "mega delicious cake" and cappuccino 😋 there is also a small snack 😋 you meet nice people and the boss is also very nice 😊

It is always nice

Simple but absolutely cheap. You can also get your food and drinks yourself. The selection of food is reduced to the minimum but it is not a restaurant but a focal point for locals and hikers and cyclists. Unfortunately only on saturday sunday and monday.

Only (affectionately meant) for breakers from hiking, cyclists, stressed out times to switch off, fresh Luftgeniesser, Naturverbundene. ........, You know what I mean. Simple rustic restaurant, with a nice old and rustic beer garden invites you to linger. Self-service at the bar window with often homemade delicious cake, good Äppler aus'em ribbed or Bembel. Beef researches with bread unn Handkäs. ..... etc. Personally, I think it's awesome, let old memories come up as it once was. Nice audience and hosts, you can quickly get into conversation if you want it. Absolutely humane prices, I will come back. Thank you very much. P.S. Ausflugslokal in the forest as you know it from earlier. No service at the table. You bring your drinks at the "window". When the food is ready, the bell will ring. Small menu: e.g. Beef sausage, cheese, pressed head and so on I liked that very much.

Simple restaurant, small menu. But at a very nice starting point for hiking Nordic walking or running .. Traditional Treffpunk for many Gelnhäuser.

Beautiful place in winter and summer after a walk through our beautiful forest.

Very nice and sufficient for a short break when hiking or cycling. The prices are fair. Unfortunately, z.T. the opening times in the short term, in mediocre weather. There are many parking spaces in front of the log cabin where the car can be left longer during the trip.

Rustic and simple. Good for a snack after hiking.

The food was great, there is plenty for children when the weather is nice. Nice destination. I can only recommend. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos: /
